shipping a cruiser
has anybody shipped a 40 across the states? I was wondering if the 35 inch tires and such are going to be a problem? What did it cost? I'm looking to ship it from Cali to South Dakota.
thanks Donald

I'll try to see if I can't find the website, though I've seen others post here on this site and on the LCML.

looks like the Air Force thinks I will be more happy in Rapid City South Dakota! Thats the word for now, it could change at any time. I'm excited to get hooked up with the Dakota Cruisers club.

I am getting re assignes as well Anchorave to Virginia. Shipping my car driving the Cruiser for the fun of it. If I had a family I'd do otherwise though. Planning on using the Alaska Ferry system instead of driving all the wy through Canada though.

thinking about towing it
I was thinking about just pulling it behind my Dodge on a flatbed trailer. That's allot of wait for a 1500 truck though. The cruiser probably weighs about 4500 pounds doesn't it? and the trailer probably weighs about 3000, which is getting realy close to my limit.

I paid 900 from Pa. to tahoe. The guy was a goon but got it here. He crushed a maxima re-aranging the cars to get my off. That was with 31's on their. I'm not sure about the 35's
