Looking at a fj-62
I can get a great deal on one. I am wanting to know if it is worth it.
I am looking to run 37" on it Will the stock axels hold them at all? If I have to swap them will regular axels work or will I have to offset them? The motor and trans I am not too worried about, they sound like they are reliable. I think that a v8 swap would be in order eventualy, probably a 5.3 chevy with a 4l65e. Has anyone done it on this board already? Are the T-cases able to be ran in a daul set up? It seemed while in my search they were not. It would appear that Sprig over is the most common way to lift them. Thanks for your time. |

a spring over will fit those tires just fine...a re gear will be necessary if you want that engine to move those tires. there are ssooo many chevy V8 swaps into the 60/62...many people use the 350. do a search here and ih8mud.com and you'll find all the info you can use..99% of everything has already been covered.
