Has anybody had any experience with the mean green alternator on a 1975 or up FJ-40? Any mods necessary? Pro and cons please.

i put it on my 76, now it resides on my 350. its bad ass. i can have everything turned on and it doesnt even fade it. when in stalling on the f motor u ditch the voltage regulator(bypass it) because the mean green is just like a chevy alt. jiMMy

I'm running a big 220 am, 14.8vdc alt. Chevy case on my 2f. I had to mod a bracket to hang it off my york anyway so why not get the big dog?
