First Cruiser
I know a bit about the the toyota trucks and runners but dont really know a lot about 40's
Always liked the look of them and always wanted to get one but just never found a decent deal... im a cheap bastard ![]() So does this one look like a decent starter? ![]() ![]() His ad: Great mechanical shape Only 75000 miles. Most of that was being towed back and forth to Colorado. Everything works except A/C I removed the Compressor 12 years ago. 95% Rubber on tires Some minor rust but very dependable. Awesome 4x4 $4200 link: http://www.southeasttexas.com/autos/....cfm?id=470215 Not sure about the rust that I can see in those pics, is it a normal amount of rust?

I would say the rust is deeper than it appears. The rear channel under the doors is a very common cancer area. The bottom of the barn doors is another area and those look rusty.
Go over it carefully. At least it doesn't seem covered up by bondo or diamond plate.

Yeah its about a 2 hour drive from where I am, thinkin of just making a trade. My 94 4Runner for the 40.
Just depends on what condition the body and engine are in. And its hard to tell how deep that rust goes. From a picture he sent me theres rust under the drivers door too
