Fab Lesson Please
Don-I have hesitated asking this for fear of being laughed at but....When you plate the frame as you did earlier in this build are you cutting the 1/4" plate to match the height of the frame rails? In addition, when you wrapped the frame for the shackle hanger and the shock tower with plate are you using 1/4" or thinner material? Are you heating and bending it or using a press?
The build looks great...As allways. |

Always thought a tube rear axle gussets was cool, could not wrap my head around how to plate it and not look awfull......
That is one of the sweeter rear axles I have seen in a long time utilizing factory chunks... ![]() Rob

Started out as an 82in x 16ft 10k equipment trailer
2x6x3/16 channel to widen the deck out to 94in. 3/16 plate over and along the side of the fenders If it doesn't work Greenhorn, Matto and I will beat on it a little more
