In search of cab

Does any one know of any wrecking yards or know of any wrecked extra cab tacomas. I need just a cab. Preferably an extra cab. I got the sweet chance of smashing my cab before getting a cage in it.

I contacted that guy from the cl add and am going to check that cab out this weekend. Looks like I will finally be able to swap an ext cab on my std cab frame.

Went and picked up the more complete of the 2 today, he was trying to get me to buy the one of the cl add for $75 I just didnt see the need for it.

Once it warms up a little more I will begin with the swap

Did he have any other parts? Was the cab you picked up nicer than the one in the ad? $75 is cheap. Almost worth picking up if you had the cash and a place to put it. Truggy?

He had all kinds of shit laying around, anything in particular you're looking for?

The cab I go is pretty much a complete cab(all interior, doors, dash) but the passenger front fender is junk and the core support is trash, perfect to tube the front and possible dove nose.

I'm hardly ever looking for anything real specific. I always keep an eye out for good deals though.

All of the rear interior panels will have to be modified to fit the ext cab on the reg cab frame. You'll also have to cut out the floor pan from the seats back and re-fab something to clear the frame. You COULD just pocket over the frame rails, however i wanted to keep some cargo storage, etc. behind my seats so i built a new floor pan.

Do you a have a build thread somewhere? Or pics. Or can you take some pics and email them to me, I know it's going to be a tight fit but it looks like if I relocate the fuel tank and notch the frame a little(or slight body lift, by slight I'm thinking 1/2inch) it should go on there all right.
