$60 sliders would be made of tin foil.

Troof. $60 for a stick of 2x2 3/16's. Cut a few pieces and weld a few pieces and you have some bombproof rock sliders. And don't forget to plate the frame. My last trucks sliders were 2x2 1/8 wall and they held up pretty good.

True. I've even got steel to make them with. But I don't have a bender unfortunately.

Yeah I realize that, square would be alright. I made 2x2 1/4 sliders for my 86 pickup,,worked hella good. But I don't think that would look good on this truck. I'd rather have functional and aesthetically pleasing parts..

yep. 2x2 .120 last for a long time. ive had mine for 5 years now or so and theres only a couple dents in them and they have taken some serious hits. i built tjs out of .188. he will install them 2026.

Since you cant read for yourself i will list the differences...front and rear arbs, full custom rear suspension, airbumps up front, on board air setup, retrofit tcase speedo sensor, 37's, tubbed fenderwells, sliders, winch, oh and my gay ass bed...but the op is on his way

I will continue to offer the OP constructive criticism/help...you just keep trolling for pictures since it easier for you to comprehend things that way...

You've abused the shit out of those sliders! .120 wall is plenty

Are the axles from a 2003 dodge pickup 2500 HD good axles for a 1 ton swap? I thought 2600 and 3500 axles were the same and both were one ton axles.

Little bit of a update as of late.

Got back from another awesome moab trip. I really fawked up my rear diff on the last obstacle in pitchett canyon(yellow hill).

My fault. Got a bit cocky. I had done a few of the obstacles with no issue I winching so I thought so what...a slickrock wall no problem. Boy was I wrong.

Anyway, getting it ready for my next trip. Dusy ershim. Early sept.

Truck is now sitting on 37s and raceline monsters. I also cut it's ass off. No more ghetto booty

As usual my best buddy sticking by my side.
