Don't have any way to post pics, so if someone can put them up i'll e-mail them to ya. Thanks I've seen, and even chatted with most of the SAS Tacoma owners on the TTORA board.
I've got a 98 Taco. It actually started it's live out as a 2wd Pre-Runner. I have since gone SAS with a pass side D44 out of a 78 Waggy. I also converted it to 4wd using an 82 Toy case bolted to an OTT Industries divorced t-case adapter. All custom driveline had to be made up as well.Shakerbuilt steering, soon to be hydro assist. Truck rolls on 38" TSL Radials, and is in the process of being re-geared to 5.29/5.38's along with my Lockright. BTW all the SAS Tacomas are lookin sweet!!! Later Will |

my truck was 124inches,I took 9 inches out of the front of the box slid the rear axle forward 10 inches, and slid the tank forward 4.5 inches.just fits with a 1 inch body lift.also your rear shocks can not be mounted to the front of the rear end as the tank is now tht much closer to the axle and the shocks wouldn't clear. I'm now at 114 and it makes a big difference

Here is my rig. It is a 96' reg-cab chassis with a 97' x-cab on top. Running a D44 65"/4.89/ARB up front on FJ80 coils springs. Running a 8.4"/4.88/ARB in the rear. I am installing my cage now and should have 37" MTRs by next weekend!
