97 tacoma build up

Just wanted to say thanks to the pirate for all the ideas and inspiration on this build. The truck is a 97 tacoma, started as a 2wd 2.4l. Project is under way and theres no turning back now. Specs:
toyota front axle with long 30 spline axles and inner hubs, new hi pinion e locker front diff, arp knuckle studs and hub studs and billet hi steer arms from Fror. knuckle rebuild kits also from Fror. Front brakes are ifs.
2nd gen rear axle, v6 diff, gonna send ring pinion out for cryo treatment 5.29 gears, rear disk brakes.
W-56 trans bolted to W-59 bellhousing, marlin crawl box with bobby long 4340 output shaft for rear t-case. staying with stock 2.28 gears in both for now, will see about gears from marlin for rear t-case if needed.
Just finished rebuilding the motor, had to get a new head as the old one was cracked.New injectors, alternator and starter, new everything on the motor, new larger 2 core radiator with dual electric fans.
4- link rear and 3 link front with 2 5/8 rebuildable flex joints from Ballistic Fab for one end and Poly Performance bushings one the other end.
ifs gear box and fj-80 tie rod ends.
14" saw coil-overs 2.5" dia.
37" Iroks
warn 8000 winch
co2 tank
3/8 t-case mount plate from Inch-Wormgear
many more goodies as well.
Right now its a frame and stripped cab, just waiting on second t-case so i can set motor/trans in and figure out links.Truck is green, will paint it silver as soon as i get body work finished. Soo much to do and not enough time in the day. If it wasn't for the PBB i dont think it would be as easy as it has been. Thanks to all the people here who have posted their pics and info. And thanks to troy at Cal Mini-Truck for all the help sourcing parts. Troy is great to deal with and killer deals.(and his 1st gen truck is sick!) Also would like to thank all the vendors on the pirate as I have purchased everything from them. I know a build up is no good without pics, i have tons of them and will get them tonight and post them. I just wanted to say the PBB is awesome for sooo much info and inspiration I got my redstar to help support this great place.(and the search function is kinda nice too!) pics coming by tomorrow. will update this as much as possible. thank you everyone here!!!!

Really looking forward to this. Did your truck start life as a manual or auto?

The bed will be cut out above the box and will be hinged and have a locking latch.

Since it is my truck, I might as well post some pics myself...
Munsen is the my brain behind the whole operation (also my good friend). The entire truck has developed from mostly his research here on PBB. You guys are too awesome, and the information on this site is priceless.
I'll shut up now and post some shit for you guys.

With the wealth of information here, I would gladly pay it again. You could never find a book for $20 that has even 1/2 the info. I'll support this site any way I can.
Plus the search function helps alot too.

Here's some more eye candy:

Thanks for the input so far. More updates coming soon.

The motor had a warped block and a cracked head.Tha truck had too many miles on it as it was on its second motor already. We draied the radiator and it looked like gear oil.I know the owner of the local engine shop, got everything machined for next to nothing and a new head. it was a 2wd 2rz motor, I'm not sure if they ever had a rear sump pan or not. if i have to iI can either make a new oil pan and pick up or i was thinking if cutting the rail off and fliping the pan around. It looks like it would work. Guess i'll find out when the front axle goes in and clearances are checked out.Anyone know if the 3rz oilpan and pickup bolt on??
