I'm a 68 yr. old who has a 98 Tacoma 2wh. drive 5lug and auto trans. that I would like to lift for 30x9x15. I would like to install a locrite also. FabTech and Downey have kits. Has anyone out there did this or part of this?
It would be used for beach work and later passed on to a grandson. I have in my passed years had both 2 whl. and 4 whl. used on the beaches on the east coast. All comments accepted |

fabtech you have a the 6", you could get away with running a 32" tire and regearing with a lockright would not hurt. check into the aussie or ez from detroit but also as you are aware expect more tire wear on the rear. if it is going to be passed on to a grandson i would remove the locker to discourage antics..
