Looking for pics of the steering on a SAS tacoma

Well i'm gonna do a SAS on my 99 4cyl prerunner in the next couple weeks and the only thing that i'm not too sure of is the steering. I'm gonna be using the ifs box that will go to high steer on my axle but I just would like to know how some of you guys did the steering shaft and what you had to do to the fire wall and if you needed custom hoses at all to connect the pump to the box. Any help would be great guys. Thanks

I have the 2.7 and didnt have to get new hoses. I just looped around the long hose. For the firewall I just cut a new hole in the existing plate and left the other hole open. Some day I will weld it closed. I cut the steering shaft where it is welded then cut it to the lenght I needed and turned the new end down on the lathe stuck it back together and welded it again.

You dont need any special hoses to make it work. If your looking to buy a steering shaft Bent up sell a nice one. Click on link.http://www.bentup.com/saskits.html

Front Range sells a nice firewall plate for $30. Comes with a new seal as well.

For my hoses, I used some earls fittings and hose and made my own.

Borgensen sells steering shaft components or you can buy it from Bentup/
