i am in the process of converting my 2 wheel drive tacoma to a 4 wheel drive,i have a 1986 5 speed maual trans that is going to replace the stock auto trans in my 1997 toy. I was told that the bellhousing from a 1997 tacoma will bolt on to the older tranny and then would bolt up to my 2.4 tacoma motor. i was just wondering if that info was correct. thanx

w59 bellhousing bolts to 2rz. w series trans (like w56) bolts to w59 bh.
