E locker into 3rd gen 4runner? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

I've searched ttora, 4x4wire, and pbb and am pretty sure this will work, but ttora has steered me wrong before (after I bought parts). I found a rear end from an 03 TRD tacoma with elocker and 4.10s. I want to put the center section in my 01 4runner, 4.10s open diff. Everybody says the 4runners got the V6 diff like the 89-95 trucks. Will this diff fit my housing just by minor clearancing and a few new holes (like swapping into an old 8" housing)? This is the family wagon, and I cant have it down for a week swapping housings.
