oil pan ?/problem

working on 2000 4x4 tacoma
putting a 2001 4cyl 2rz motor(2wd) into a 2000 4x4.
The oil pan is hitting on the front diff on the drivers side before reaching the motor mounts.
Does the 3rz motor that came in the 4x4 have a different oil pan? What can i do?

4x4 pans and 2x4 pans are usually always different. Look for a another pan at a junkyard

whats a 2rz is that teh same as a 22r? if its a 22r then i dont think the 3rz 2.7L will work. a SAC is solid axle conversion and you need a different oil pan because the drag link hits the oil pan on tacomas because of there forward sump.

the 2rz is the 2.4 liter that they put in the 2wd. 3rz 4x4. I think it is the same block but the 3rz has a longer stroke. I'll call toyoyta to find out. what do you want for the oil pan?
