I check their board to see if there are any cool builds or pictures, but as far a tech, your better off figuring it out on your own. It has definatly taken a turn more towards the stock, or slightly modified crowd. I was thrilled when this forum was started, it is just taking a little while for it to get going.

I'm with ya. I'm very active (V.P.) with/of my local (TN) chapter, but otherwise I agree with chris. It is on its way to becoming the next yotatech.

I guess its time to get a red star.

yea i get more and more tired of that place but there isnt much of an alternative until this forum gets up and going. not many taco guys post in here because there is no one here to respond other than non taco owners. the ncttora guys are great and we actually have a thread similar to this going on with people not even wanting to be affiliated with the national board any more. we will see how it plays out.

Me as well. I am the former VP of the New England chapter. We realized the shit storm was coming about 6 months ago and bailed forming Northeast Toyota Crawlers. Like said above, that place used to be good.

I agree with Cronus about our chapter getting shit on. Unless you are southwest/west, I think that is the deal.

As TiTRD said, we got thoroughly tired of the BS with TTORA and decided to walk. We merged TTORA-NE with a local chapter of 4ROC and created Northeast Toyota Crawlers. We are much happier and I think it was a really good thing for us.

Jester, I suggest not making a chapter of any national organization, too much drama, too much politics, too much BS. Start a club, get a forum, call your friends. It will take off from there. It worked great for us. Also, we were able to hook up with the East Coast 4 Wheel Drive Association through which we gained a lot of land access and a loose affiliation with other clubs in the area.

Does anyone know how to put a 3" lift on my Tacama? Oh, and I would need to use someone's tools and their garage to put it on.

I think that is my favorite question ever, just behind "will my 3" lift clear 33's?"

I have friends that I can go wheeling with and that is all that matters.
