all pro and fror are two totally different kits...all pro more or less comes with all u need to run there axle while fror just has the hangers and shackles for the front. they are also leaf springs vs. coilovers so its apples to oranges. i suggest doing some research and figure out what you want and then figure out what company to buy from. no one other than all pro makes a full on kit yet to do a swap like the marlin, all pro, TG, etc. for the older gens. most, like me, had to piece it all together. i have fror spring hanging kit and am very happy with the quality...

you need to figure out what you want to do first...leaf spring or Coil-link type of swap. the leaf spring type is the cheapest, by far. there is another fab company that makes a full 3-link kit - the axle but I can't seem to find their link...it was discussed on a ttora thread at length a year or so back.

yea im definately going leaf. theres no way i could afford the 3-link, and all the effort that goes into it. i am thinking im gonna go with the fror one. that way i can get whatever springs and such that i need and can go slow, and be able to afford it, instead of dropping a bunch of money on a whole kit. i can get a pair of chevy 63's heeeeeelllllll of cheap from my girlfriends dad, but what would be a pair of springs for the front that would keep my ride height level?

If you are going to use leaves I highly recomend FROR's kit. It was very easy to install, and it's beefy. I would also recomend FROR's T-case crossmember. I beleive I was one of the first to receive his 10* clocked x member and it fit like a glove. Brian's customer service is second to none as well.
Custom Alcans are kinda pricey but they're really well made springs. I think they actually fucked up on mine and sent me front springs for a V6 (I run the 4 banger) but after pulling the bottom leaf the ride like a Caddy and flex very well.

I was really pleased with my FROR kit. Good quality and reasonably prices.
I'm running a 96 single cab, with a HP44 and a 9. Went with the 6" all pro long travels. They're awesome. Moves the front 3"forward. But you'll have to move your factory front spring hangers on the rear. since they're not made for a tacoma. But my truck will pull up on a 44" tire with the other 3 firmly planted... |

Are you serious?
All you have to do is google FROR or Front Range Off Road and look on their web site. Hell, I think they are vendor here on Pirate too. If you're too lazy to even look for the item yourself, you're too lazy to do/own a swapped truck.

HEY FUCK STICK, I wasn't bagging on you for asking about who had what. You asked who, you got a response of FROR, and then proceeded to ask for a LINK. FROR comes up on every search engine I've ever used you LAZY FUCK, so you shouldn't need a link. So now you're LAZY and a FUCK STICK. Try some reading comprehension before you attempt another response.

Well perhaps not this guy. I think he may need to repeat English class as well. Unless that was an example of Gore speak.
BTW You meant to say here not hear. You damn janitors are all alike. |
