tacoma tranny fiting early adapter?

hey guys, i tried to search for the answer but came up short. I have already a dual case adapter that i know will fit 79-85. Will this fit a 4 cyl tacoma?

If not what about a 90-95 yota?

thanks for any information you give me.

Who is the adapter from? Best bet to email them since I can't give you a clear answer since I have no clue right now.

Wont fit a Tacoma but it will fit the 90-95 as long as its a 4 cyl.

It won't bolt to the tacoma tranny. If it's a five speed you can swap the bellhousing from your tacoma 4cyl tranny to an early model tranny allowing the cases to bolt up. So you would run your tacoma bellhousing bolted to a W 56 (85-95 4wd 5 speed tranny) bolted to your dual cases.

That adapter will work for double cases if you use a Lefty instead of your Taco case.
