front driveshafts
I am doin a pre-to-4x4 conversion, what driveshafts are usable?
There -seem- to be 4 different ones, V6 auto (A340F), V6 stick (R150F), 4cyl auto (dont know tranny) and 4 cyl manual (W59 or somethin?). Ok I am goin with the auto, not a A340F, but it is the Asain model, 30-40L or LE I recall it was called. Suppose to be identical though (not much info, but thats what research said). Came outta a 98 4Runner in the east so its gotta at least bolt up lol. So basically anyone know the shaft lengths and wheather or not there is a different flange like preunner flanges are different from the t-case fanges I just found out. I just need to know which are close enough in length to be used or if there is really any difference in them at all. This is a IFS truck, so there shouldnt be much movement of the shaft aside from tranny movement. Thanks, Kyle. Last edited by Tacoma_Kyle; 08-18-2007 at 11:10 PM. |
