i bought my 04 tacoma in 2007,its a 3.4, 5 speed, non trd, ext cab. was never going to be a wheeler, i got it so i would not have to drive my 4runner around any more. well i got rid of the 4runner, then got an ext cab 85 then sold it now i have sami and now sold that and only have the Tacoma. so im going to do lite wheeling with my Tacoma. so this is how it was when i bought it.

my wife told me it look like an old man truck so i got a little lift for it. put some 31s on it, flowmaster muffler and some nice 15x8 black rims.

and 31s are just to small so i got some big ass 32s haha . every year we have winter fun fest in grass valley. not having a good wheeler i took my tacoma and drove it like it was a tuff truck. here are some pix of the day.

hen some jackass backs in to me. $2000 to my truck and a little dent on his rear bumper. but a got a new front bumper out of it!

so it was a rainy saturday after and me a my buddy wanted to go and do some muddin, well long story short we got all got stuck (3 toyota's an 85, 97 taco, and my 04) got pulled out by a jeep on 42s. i ripped off my stock skid plate and put a hole in my radiator. but i had a good helper to help me put it back together.

got some 33s now and 63" chevy springs. springs are now on yet.

well got to do some snow wheeling in Dec 0f 09

RIP the tacoma is no longer with us she rolled it but shes fine

kid didnt even make it to the trail before i had to pull him out

i really need some lockers

got me a free winch its only 5500 but it will do the job

put a new 3" lift on the front so my tires in the front wont bub any more

and that's where I'm at right now. i have a Dana 44 pass drop im going to put in after i find a new job and get a an pass drop tcase. ill put 4.7s in the case 5.38s in the front with a Detriot and a t100 rear with 5.29s with a Detriot with 37s. so wht you guy think?

just ordered the box tube for my bumper and sliders 3x2 .120 wall should be here soon

nice truck!! i like it alot!

i also have the revtech spacers, Allpro has a front diff drop kit that is pretty cheap, it would save your CVs some.... but if your going to SAS it soon im sure you will be fine for now

Nice Toyota man! I am sure I have seen you in town. I have the White 3rd gen runner with the front tube bumper and I am on 33's hit me up when you go wheelin sometime! I have a Waggy 44 ready to go in mine and a yota 8.4 rear I am just waitin on money to get all the parts!

thanks man. its taking a long time to get it were it is now. my revtech spacers caome with 1" diff drop so they are good for now.

dose your front bumper bolt on to side tubes for your finders? if so i know the runner you are talking about. and thanks! ya ill hit you up some time when i go wheeling!

was this up north of Nevada city? i know a guy named Joe that lives up there with a jeep on 42's and that pond looks familiar.
