Ask and ye shall receive, After a 14hour day at work I forgot to stop and pick up solder and some other wiring stuff so I dusted off this old kit that had been sitting on the shelf for god knows how long. Got some night time mood lighting.

Is it kid safe? she's the chief box opener.

Picked up a cheap filter and some clamps, Had to shorten the tube a little.

Busted out the plasma and pushed the engine harness threw.

Got a buddy coming up tomorrow to help run the brake and gas lines and hopefully get this bitch to start.

I am assuming you don't cross many creeks in your neck of the woods with that intake set like that? Looking bad ass though for sure!

Actually I do and have been know to end up out in the pond on the regular, I think this short intake with just the clamp on filter will be great for the rocks and I will get some more tube and make a tractor style straight up snorkle for local woods and mud running duties. I will be fabing up a shield for the short version tomorrow though.

Sweet thanks again, the kid is excited too.

Special guest fabricator ernie showed up today and knocked out a ton of little shit, and ran a lot of the brake and clutch lines. Note fawk buying 25' rolls of brake tubing that shit is damn near impossible to get straightened back out.
Ernie hard at work plasma cutting some tabs.

Couple shots of the lines ran.

Fought with the harness for quite a while today, It runs now but have to finish cutting out the excess wiring and clean up the interior harness.

Went out for a ride with the wife on the hayascooter and when I got home shot this craptastic video with my phone, The alt belt is loose and squealing and I can't figure out why it is idling so damn high.

Buggy first start. - YouTube

Finished all the brake lines today, and the stand alone engine harness is done. All the loose wires by the firewall will get zip tied and mounted to the fire wall on final assembly.

I had broke a piece of .063 al at work on thursday, today I cut the shifter holes and raped 3 boots to close in the top of the tunnel.

With 12 days to go I have a few small things to finish up tomorrow and will tear it down.

It cost about $25 to do them in steel, was quick and I know it works. I have never used the nylon setups before, but may look into it as a future upgrade. Fact is the clock is ticking and due to me being a dumbass and blowing my self up I now have a 5k+ hospital bill to pay on, so I need to get this done cheap and then throw more money at it in a couple months.

Got the package from J-Rod and let me tell you this guy doesn't mess around when he does you a favor.

The kid adding stickers to the cabinet.

Suck down winch mounted.

The midget helping break down the buggy.

Another hour or so tomorrow and it will be down to the chassis, funny took a 132 days to build it and about 4 hours to take it apart.

Since I had the engine hoist out I did a little flex test, took it up till it hit the garage door opener.

The back was all most all the way out.

The front had barely started to work.

Bare chassis, tire for size comparison. Makes me want to build a street rod, any body want this hunk of shit.

Oh noes her first flop.

Flipped it the other way and got 95% welded up and ran out of gas. this is how I quit tonight.

10 days to go.

Will do pics and video, some of her driving too.

Got off work to late to get my bottle filled so I hit the wallmart and bought the last 4 cans of primer and some gloss black paint.
The kid prepping the links.

And painting.

While she was painting the links I shot the rear end.

She got the links and drive shafts done.

4 cans of primer didn't go very far.
