I'm good with frank's stuff thank you and respectfully disagree with you as to his "pimping" this last time around. A free offer to try something is just that. Never once was I or anyone else solicited to buy "goop." As far as his etiquette goes, he'll never be given the chance due to the cock-gobbling keyboard jockies on this site that just want to fuck with him, get him riled up and banned. I've been opposed to "pirate for profit" from the beginning, but at least Camo and Lance were somewhat regular dudes and congrats to them for building this site into the machine it became and cashing out. If a potential media/ advertising source treated me as Frank has been treated, I wouldn't give them a red cent. If I'm paying for a service,I expect service; not to be kicked around, spat on and harassed at every turn. Looks like the ban wiped his pm' from my box as well

Not sure anyone's been given the chance to give him the time of day. I ran the baller red line grease since my superset was new (at the recommendation of the OCD 80 owners on mud). I'll take pics and check both sides to see what they look like after no more than 10k miles. I'm curious what the grease looks like myself, at least on the side that is not leaking.

Any hints on where to find this stuff? I googled and found references on misc boards, and found the kendall site is now Phillips 66 lubricants which seems to only pimp the oil not grease.
Also, is this the L-427 super blue? or is ultra blue different?

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/payments.php I don't have any thing to do with handling transactions, so this i the best I can suggest. It's via PayPal, and you get the start instantly. You have to have one to pursue business here. It's the right thing to do to be fair to all the other small vendors who pay to promote product. I get the sense from talking to you and reading your posts you are a believer in being fair. Try to keep your self in check as best you can this round. Remember, it's just an internet forum, not responding is how to defuse, IE, you don;t always have to swallow the bait.

This seems like a pretty clear answer to me. If its truly a Trade Secret, then stop talking about it. So far you haven't been able to show any documented proof of this, so unless you have received a cease and desist letter from Toyota saying as such, then its I doubt its something they care about you are talking about.
If you are trying to pimp it or wish yourself or anyone else to sell it, then buy a yellow star as the forum admins have requested and a 180 degree change of attitude would go a LONG ways. Most people I know don't respond well to crazy conspiracy theory stuff, but if you could give a well documented and scientifically proven argument for using this stuff, then you might get some takers. I'll say that I will NOT be trying this out solely for the fact that it will make a trail fix a horrible experience and after having broken some Chromoly Longfield shafts (due to stress, not wearing out), ring and pinions and such, I plan for the eventuality. Most guys I know have no problem servicing their knuckles once a year or every other year. Its just part of maintaining an offroad rig (or any vehicle for that matter).

What emotional response?
There is almost zero emotion for me in this. Capital letters were for emphasis, not because of anger or emotion. As I've said in other posts, please provide documented proof (i.e. an official document from Toyota) about the "these are filled with this stuff from production". I wasn't really arguing that you shouldn't pursue what you are pursuing, but rather providing my stance on it and giving some constructive criticism on how you might get better responses from people. This being a dedicated offroad site where most guys lean more towards the extreme end of what the Toyota drivetrain can take, I just don't see this as a great venue for you to push your goop since we are more likely to break something due to being over stressed rather then wearing out over time. For that application, this stuff really isn't the answer as it adds another very messy step to servicing an axle when something breaks. Unfortunately I can't really think of a venue that would be a good place, as the street truck/lower rider guys don't really use solid axles. Further, at least to me, there is a lot of evidence that these axles were intended to have the grease that is recommended by the FSM and did in fact have that in them from the beggining. The combination of them coming from the factory with oil seals inside the knuckle ball and no way to seal the end of the spindle or a good way to keep a liquid grease from leaking out around the wheel bearings or out of the lockout hub. Plus, there is paperwork (FSM, Owners Manual, etc) specifying what Toyota desires factory techs and general users to use. I'm a skeptic at heart, and need to see clear and concise proof of something before I decide its believing in. So far, all you have come up with is anecdotal evidence from a conversation with someone at a dealership, and in my experience that doesn't count for much. That said, if its working for you and others see a benefit then by all means keep up with your crusade. It wouldn't be the first time that it took people a long time to come around to something that seemed kind crazy at first.
