Oops. Yep. I miss wrote that. Yeah it's a 96-04 Tacoma / 4runner 3.4 5-speed 150 not a turbo 151. Thanks for the heads up on that

That's some pretty good fab work. And a pretty hardcore build. Sweet I love seeing builds like this.

Im back and this afternoon I began on the rear bumper. I started with a 3x3 crossmember to box the rear of the frame. From here I will tie the side areas into the frame. I am going to tie the entire bumper into the cage, so it will not be removable.

Ok got a second to work on the truck today. So Ive decided that im going to 4-link the rear so I dont need to go back.
Anyway Ben at Filthy hooked me up, as Im going to use the Evo joints on the rear as well so everything is the same. Btw Ben is a great vendor and has these on the shelf......MUCH better than trying to ship them from Canada and all the crap that goes along with it. Decided to put the spray can in there to show the size of these things!!!

Thanks. Hopefully everything comes together. Ok I started work on the rear. The leafs are out (does anyone want a set of custom Alcan front and rear springs?????
) Too bad I didnt just decide to link it in the rear from the beginning. I guess these things always go this way. I removed the spring hangers and mounted up a Artec 14-bolt truss. I wanted a full width truss but obviously had little options with regards to the rock jock. Nate and Ardy (hope im spelling those right) had the idea of using the 14-bolt truss as it would have more room for the pumpkin. Well it worked out great. I slanted the truss slightly forward. I had to cut some around the center section but it should work great! Along with this the last pic below shows the lower axle mounts.

I'd try to add a little reinforcement where the arrows are since some of that material was cut out. You could cut some tubing and put it around the speed holes in between the two plates.

Sweet rig man. I'm definitely gonna copy your rock sliders there
Can't wait to see how the rear bumper turns out too. I cut off the rear section under the body line on mine and am in the process of figuring out a rear bumper.

Distraction
Been distracted this week trying to finish the wiring on a friends 5.3 vortec fj60 swap. Hopefully I'll be done early tomorrow and it will be off the the muffler shop. In an effort to keep the thread going I was going to post the engine computer mount I built from scratch. It's all out of 1/8 plate.
