Cheap lightweight toyota on 37s build questions.

Im wanting to build a 4cylinder, auto (HATE manuals), lightweight rig, on 37s with hydro assist. Im going to take the entire cab off besides the windsheild, dash, and the hood. Going to go small lift and trim the hell out of the fenders up front and maybe even take the fenders completely off. Wanting to go welded diffs, solid axle up front with longfields (or chromoly if I go dana 44 front). Suspension will be leafs up front, and 4 link rear. Probably airshocks to keep it simple and cheap back there. Going to trim the rear frame to accomidate 105-115" wheelbase with 4link setup. Im VERY light on the skinny pedal. Heres my questions.

1. What would yall suggest I do for gears? (I was thinking 5.29s but my buddy told me Ill probably be snapping R&Ps)

2. What should I do for Tcase? (Atlas is not in the budget)

3. Would u recomend the Yota solid axle or a chevy dana 44 up front?

4. What vehicle can I buy to get me closest to the specs I want with the vehicle in stock form?

5. If I use Craigslist and do all my own fab work, what am I looking at for final cost? (Lets put the vehicle price at 1000bucks, with running drivetrain)

6. What am I missing?

Thanks guys

A lot of this you can search for but I'll help.
1. 5.29s if they're set up correctly you shouldn't have any problems and it will take a load off your tcase outputs.
2. Probably stock geared duals since you'll be running an auto.
3. Toyota SA. It's a toyota truck...
4. Whatever bodystyle you like the best. First gens are the lightest but since your getting rid off the body it doesn't really matter.
5. uh anywhere from $1-10,000 depends on your taste.
6. idk

k thanks for the info. My taste is as cheap as possible. I just finished a 30k jeep build.. Not doing that dumb shit again. I want a cheap as possible, very purpose built, lightweight, easy to work on, beater on 37s.

There is a whole thread on here about them.

as for the auto, use a Jeep aw4 and Dana 300 4:1 with a radesigns shifter.

30k on a jeep did you have gold plated skids or something? wheres a link to the build? im not a jeep lover at all but i wana see what kinda stuff you did with 30,000 Washington's

id stick with the yota axles cause if your light and have 37`s i dont for see you causing a huge amount of damage specially with a light foot. which will keep the cost of chromo parts down.

patience in finding parts and doing your own fab work will be a huge part of keeping it cheap
