I'm putting up a link, so the dial up guys don't whine.
The half doors are a pain to make, now I understand why Allpro wants so much. The latch is just a piece of the original rod attached to the latch and bent in a loop shape. Simple and works well. The hinges are quick release so I can put my regular doors on when it gets cool in AZ. The top is navy blue Sunbrella fabric, same thing boat tops and covers are made of. It's pretty tough, already drug it through the trees a few times with no rips. The frame is 3/4" EMT conduit bent to keep water off. Snaps on the back, a slide in channel on the front. Eventually I'll do sides that roll up. Here's the linkhalf door page |

Great pics! I really like how you used carpet to cover the door panel. Very clean.

I like the doors. Wish there wasn't so much mud around here, or I'd have a set. Question for you. I remember when you posted the new 38', etc. and everyone was asking about your triming of the rear fenders. Have you got any close ups of that? I'm planning on doing this soon before the rust gets out of control, and could use all the ifo I can get my hands on. Thanks

Very nice!
Although that Detriot locker sticker doesn't do a very good job of hiding that dent!

his rear bumper and tire carrier six weeks ago. I have to admit that it would go good with your front bumper...

pmurf1, id like to see the mounting points on that rear bumper, like frame mounts and mostly the swing mount and latch, thats about the smoothist looking bumper.
And does your tire bounce around much?
