i have an 83 mini truck, and it seemd to drive and steer fine. i went to go wheelin yesterday, and put it in 4wd and started driving. i noticed a grinding sound coming from what seemed to be the front end(not sure) it does it esp. while im turning. it doesnt seem to affect the way the truck wheels, its just kinda unnerving. any ideas? oh yeah, stock axles, birfs, push pull, 33's, stock gears.
This is how a quote works. And if everything is stock on your 83 I would have to agree in checking the hubs. Possible a bearing is going out or missing petrol products in the area. It may even be a joint or pinion item. Check the petrol.
I do not have a Gasoline in my front end, WTF are you talking about "Petrol", do you mean "Gear Oil"???
Main Entry: pet·rol
Pronunciation: 'pe-tr&l, -"träl
Function: noun
Etymology: French essence de pétrole, literally, essence of petroleum
chiefly British : GASOLINE
