yes, god's are welcome, just make sure to keep 'em on a leach, especially if they are vengeful gods. there was an incident with zeus a while ago, it was bad... lighting strikes, meteors coming down from the heavens.. ick.
:flipoff2: oh.. dogs?? yep, dogs are cool too! just keep 'em under control.

dont worry he's a kind god... the worst he might do is shit in somone's sleeping bag.. but thats only to those fools that put money in the plate at church... :flipoff2:
no he's a good dog and he will be on a leash most of the time..
Not the case at all, I have a dog, but she stays home for a couple reasons. She doesn't play well with other dogs, and she's too dumb to realize that the big metal things on four wheels will fawk her up when she gets in thier way
There is no better way to destroy a fun trip camping/wheeling than to have a dog get killed.

i know you arent that way.. if you really where a mailman you would have thretend not to deliver my mail unless the dog was on a leash :flipoff2:
yeah that would kinda suck... he plays well... i mean i have to take him... his full name is Wheelin Buddy.. he would be crushed if he found out that i went wheelin and didnt take him...
that and if i left him home from the 20th-25th im sure that there would be a fat pile of shit on the new carpet.. :shaking:
Personal thoughts here, go for it bring. Just keep track of them. I will not be happy if I run over, or roll onto someone's dog.
Also, I am coming, but I am leaving my 2 dogs, Tundra, and Tacoma (yes tundra is bigger) at home. They are both way to friendly, and will jump on most everyone. They also are so socialable they want to see who is in the truck, not stay away from it. My feeling is extreme trails is not a good place for a dog. Camp, and easier stuff cool. However, if you must bring a dog, and run the nasty stuff, Ill hold onto your dog while you try to flip your junk!
I would bring my dog but she will run off after the 1rst :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: 2nd ,3rd,4th bomb and so on .
hopefully your dog doesn't get scared like mine .....
Floppy (my shepherd runt) is fawkin terrified of them. If we don't have her in the motorhome before the first boom, she heads for the hills, literally.
here's a different point of view.
a mother of a toddlers point of view.
who usually stays back at camp with my son and other peoples children while everyone is out on the trail. Do I mind watching other peoples children... NO.
however if you throw 10 dogs into the mix it becomes a little more difficult.
Yes, everyones dog is a GREAT dog. Mix together 10 GREAT dogs and you'll have some sort of confrontation between them, guaranteed. 10 GREAT, but angry, dogs does not make for a great playground for the kids to be playing in.
Now the poop issue. we have 10 great dogs left at camp while the owners are out on the trail. Who picks up thier poop? the answer is NO ONE. You said.. "people that dont pick up after thier dogs should be shot" well bring lots of bullets with you because you'll have a lot of shooting to do.
like MD said, bring your dog... we love dogs... but if you are going to bring your dog PLEASE pick up after them.
We could bring our 2 Black Labs Swamper an Bogger but they stay home with the grandkids. I think that Buddy would have FUN. It will be good to see you guys there.

I really want to bring my dog. Unfortunatly all of the rocks at JV would tear his feet up bad. I would have him ride along, but the trails are obvioulsy very rough and I would hate to flop with him in the truck (again). I am also concerned about rattle snakes, not sure that I need to be but I am always concerned about my little bro. He likes nothing more than to go wheeling (except swimming), but he just stays home during my trips to JV. If we are camped close or end up wheeling together, I will definatly help to keep an eye on your buddy.
If I see his Dog take a shit while I am standing next to him and I see that the owner is not around to notify. Yes, I will do it. I will not patrol the lake bed to be sure all poop is picked up though. Is this accpetable?
