i'd bet its thicker weight than fork oil. mountain bike and moto fork oil is usually 7.5wt.
the thicker the weight, the more resistance to bottoming the fork has. (also, the more progressive the shock rate is when it gets to the end of its travel)
orded it from dave at polyperformance. $35/gal. sit is expensive but i guess i wont have to drive around looking for it and then end up paying $15 for a quart or whatever. time is money.
$35?? Damn, I think we picked up a couple of quarts, and tools to aid in the job from the local bike shop for less then that, and didn't have to wait for shipping. It's just 5 wt. oil for the Fox. Not to mention that a gallon of oil will last you a life time with the amount of oil these shocks hold.
well, i was also ordering chromo inners and line lock so i have to wait anyhow. figured he's always there providing great tech support so why not thru business his way when i can.
