stupid t-case question - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

I have a 21 spline tcase that I want to use as the doner case for my dual case setup. My question is I have a 1985 truck and I don't know what the spline count is on it I haven't taken it apart yet, but if it is a different spline count will I still be able to do the dual case set up with what I have are do need to get a different case. All of the 1985 cases are 21 spline.
