I am planning on taking the Auto. trans. off of the X-case. I have never done this so how does the X-case come off the trans.? Do you have to take the X-case apart? Looks like there are 2 bolts, 1 on each side that could hold the 2 together. I took them loose and it looks like there are bolts coming from inside the X-case. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Why are you taking them apart?
They are an integrated unit. You have to disassemble the back of the t-case and pull it off the output shaft of the trans(at least that's what the pictures look like). There is nothing you can do with either one seperated from the other. They can only be used together. Phil
