I really like the rims. They look like you took a hole saw to the spokes. Kinda neat

I've had those rims for a while now and don't even know what they came off of but I've always liked em.

Krawlers are backordered for a while now. I had real good luck with the krawlers and they hooked up better than anything I ever had. I'll give maxxis a try now.

First impressions of the maxxis - soft and sticky for a DOT tire, great tread design and better sidewall protection/lugs than the krawlers. They are shorter that the krawlers and thinner though

well we went out the the Frostbite run at Kansas Rocks Park - And we had a blast!

I'll post a story and photos later - got some video too
I think I bent my front axle beyond useability and a rear 44044 so we'll see how autozone handles the lifetime warranty!

I will say that for the wet slick conditions that we had - Maxxis Creepy crawlers performed better than any other tire I've ever seen or used. These things hooked noticably better than the krawlers. I was worried that I'd have to break them em for a while and get the sidewalls loosened up but i was wrong!!! VERY IMPRESSED

yup switch over to maxxis when I sold my Krawlers and BFG had a wait list for the 35 krawlers. I couldn't be happier with the switch.

Here's a little review of the June events so far

RROCK and SheRock
June 2008

We left Kansas June 6th for a week long vacation to visit family in Missouri before competition weekend at Hannibal Rocks. We were quite the show with our “Redneck Toter” pulling a trailer, 2 big dogs, a 3-month-old baby and luggage for 8 days. A 7-hour trip took us about 10 but we made it safe and sound.
We had our baby Ella baptized on Sunday and got to see tons of family and friends in the process.
Travis organized a cruise in at Hooters on Wednesday night. With the help of Axle Boy out of St. Peters, MO we had about 15 rigs show up. There were lots of people checking out our rigs and asking questions about the sport of rockcrawling. RROCK and SheRock fell on Father’s Day weekend so most people turned us down on the invite to attend the event but took the information and hope to come out and watch in the future.





We rolled into Hannibal Rocks with all 3 rigs on Friday night. The weather held and we had a great night for camping. RROCK #2 was another great event put on by Hannibal Rocks. With some tough courses Team RockWild finished in 4th place; although we would have preferred a 1st place finish we had some great runs. The teams in ModStock are amazing; just a few cones puts you from 1st to 4th in quite a hurry. Congrats to the Kyles’ on a 1st place win.







After a hot day of competition a dip in “Tom’s Lagoon” seemed like a great idea. Many of the kids both big and small went for a swim in the water that collected from all the rain in the quarry.

We saw some baby raccoons but luckily their mother was nowhere in sight.


We hit the sack early in preparation for SheRock on Sunday.
There were 8 girls in all; 2 from team RockWild. Sara and Leah had a great time and finished in 2nd and 4th for the day. As a team we raised $770 for Susan G. Komen for a total of $5200 for the day. Sara competed in 2006 but couldn’t compete in 2007 because they were expecting a baby. She was excited to get back into it this year. This was Leah’s first competition and she did great. She got a little scared but only cried once. With the help of great spotters the girls didn’t get off camber too much.





We had a wonderful weekend and can’t wait for next round.

Thanks for the support - We're looking for new designs and stuff for next year as well as new sponsors for the backs of the shirts. These are starting to slow down since we've flooded the area with them. At this point we're just breaking even on the deal and it just gives us a unique way to get in touch with the crowd. The events have gotten much more enjoyable because people are more willing to come up and talk to us and that's what makes wheelin fun - the people.

Innerairlocks - We have, We're testing em, They're sponsoring us. I was informed a few weeks ago that they are on a production shutdown due to some business stuff. I'm sure they'll give me a shout when it's all worked out.

Also a sponsor, but I called on Tuesday the week before these comps and was having some solenoid issues. A whole new solenoid pack was in my hands on thursday and we used the winch on the very first course.

They've allowed me some promotional pricings on winches so if you're serious give me a shout and I can help a few people here out. Please be ready to buy though, as I'm not a dealer and don't have a ton of spare time to answer everyones questions

HP front gears had a few little defects so they're getting replaced and new HP 4.10's cryo'd and treated by Bobby are going it and getting professionally installed.
