Toyota TRD E-Locker Conversion

I got my hands a REAR 3rd member out of a 1997 Toyota LandCruiser that is equipped with a factory electric locker and I had a question.

I know that many people use the 3rds out of Tacomas and 4Runners with the e-locker and put them in the housing of early model Toyotas, so I guess my question is: Can you put a 97 Toyota LandCruiser REAR 3rd member(w/ an e-locker) in the rear axle of a 1986 Toyota Pickup???

Responses and information from people would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Specifically, you need to read the thread from Eric, which states:

These vehicles also had an optional rear 8.875" electric locker . This one has been retrofitted into other Landcruiser models with considerable effort (see this article), but it doesn't appear to be compatible with any non-Landcruiser vehicles.
