OK.... first off I have searched and searched this to death. I'm really hoping it's something I may have simply overlooked.
Problem: Slight stumble/ rough idle, light (somewhat normal) ticking sound. This is only at idle. Seems to be fine otherwise other than the head being hotter than most 22re's I have had (gauge reads normal).
List of things I have checked or repaired: Normal tune up stuff (All of it! Plugs, plug wires, air filter...etc., the works).
Timing is dead on, TPS has been adjusted, Valves adjusted to spec, Fuel system checked and changed filter, verified all injectors are firing and working properly, no vacuum leaks found, ignition checks out healthy, all plugs and connections checked out (even ran the meter through the engine bay and verified all grounds and most wires/ plugs), egr valve tested and it is workin properly, compression check shows between 165 and 170 all the way crodss, checked the air intake tubing and so forth.....
I'm stumped. I have run the gammit on this thing in the past couple of weeks in my spare time and haven't really found anything that just screams "It's me! I am the reason!".
Some history: The truck is fairly new to me, so no real history to report. Seems to run a wee bit smoother/ higher idle cold, but it's still there. I am gonna give it the once over one more time in a week or so, just looking for a few ideas of what I may have missed. The truck will be a future product eventually, so I will be hacking it up down the road. If that helps you heathens.:flipoff2:
