I'm going to add a line lock to my money pit in the near future. I have a single cab with the 22r. Were have you guys been tieing into the brake lines. Obviously I'd like to avoid adding miles of line and do my best to keep the inside of the cab looking clean. I assume most of you tied into the line going to the rear axle and not one of the front lines. Pictures would be awsome but any advise would be apreciated.
Off the MC. That would be the shortest distance and you have a choice. Front, you can do cool burnouts, or rear. Really if you still have the LSPV it will work on all four wheels if you put it on the rear from the MC!!!!!!!!
I run 3 of them and have them mounted on my fender well(for now--fender wells are going ba-bye). One for front and one for each rear wheel so ya--I have a lil extra brake line
Thanks guys. Any rule of thumb for making bleeding easier. I have a line lock that looks just like the lever one above. I'd like the lever to be mounted maybe under the front of my seat but there again I'd have to run som lines. the electric line locks look like a bitchen way to go, how much do the go for off of summit? Do they ever fail?
That sounds like the way to go. Is the solenoid enegized the entire time the lock is engaged? I know this was desighned as a staging brake and not to hold a vehicle for an extended period. I couldn't find any info on duty cycles on summits description. Thanks.
