From all my research, it will hold up but at idle it won't have enough GPM's to work real well - hard to steer, find yourself revving the engine to steer under load.
Toy pump is like around 1.0 ~ GPM. You need around 3 ~ 4 GPM's.
I've been running a stock pump for about 5 yrs now with POS DE Ram. It was a little slow at first but after opening up the restrictor plate it's all good now. That's at just over 3 turns lock to lock.
