Electrical Problem
OK, not hardcore, but perplexing . . . It's an '88 4Runner, and after the 4.3 swap, everything works except that I've got no dash ilumination. Guages work, CEL, brake, charge lights all work, interior lights work, just no dash lights. I don't know if they worked when I bought the rig, or before the swap, but no lights now. I've checked every fuse I could find - all good. The wiring diagram shows them on the tail light circuit after the relay, (tail lights work) but I haven't been able to find any reason for the dash lights to be out. Could all the bulbs really all be burned ou??
What am I missing?? Any suggestions?? Thanks!

the only way to find out is to check the illumination wire at the dash to see if there is power, then check the bulbs..
like you know, if the marker lights are working so should the dash

I've got power to the dimmer/rheastat(?) and that is at the end of the circuit. But it also has two hot leads going into it.
