this thread sounds stupid but im bored. so
I painted my 82 flat khaki and flat black 8 cans khaki 4 cans flat black sanded the whole truck down with 180grit blew it off with my compressor than wipped it down with tack cloth. taped it and painted. the flat black around the front fenders has been changed to khaki as well.

Paint would look even better if I would have used more paint but I like it it touches up easy

about 15 cans of camo paint and a bunch of Cedar Branches as templates.
I know it does not photo well but it looks great in person..

Ya retarded thread, but theres nothing good on here tonight.
The Orange one was originaly siver with not a flaw in the paint. I primered it white and painted it orange just because, ran out of orange thats why the hood stayed white. oh and the 76 sticker came off of a gas pump. I did that in 2001. total rattle cans: 15

The Pink Taco, again was out of bordom. My brother was just going to flat black the truck and when we went to Lowes to get a case of black. well some how we came out with pink instead.

Paint is over-rated..... it just gets scratched off anyway.

I got a friend that does body work invovled when I narrowed my front end. Ended up way nicer than my past 2 spray bomb jobs for sure. Both times it was spray bombed it faded to hell and looked like crap after awhile. I think we used 2 quarts to do this.

This was supposed to be Kawasaki green but it came out a little off. Still made a cover. (not my rig)

Memorial '06

This one is from our wedding almost 2 years ago.

this one was the next version, a bit brighter..

This is the newest version. It'll be the last on this truck. It was rolled severly on this run and once the winter is over I'll swap the drivetrain over to the rig I'm building in the shop.

Oh and all of them were just lots of cheap rattle bombs from wally world. The newest one is actually done "right" with metal prep, some body work (no bondo obviously ) and clear coat with lots of violet pearl and glitter in the clear.

Back in college, there was a guy with a lime green Toyota and black Bushwacker flares. Thought it was pretty cool, but that was the late eighties...

Not exactly "paint" but a wrap. I went with the Van Halen theme to keep the 80's look. The nice part about it is when it gets beat up, I can just call the shop and have them print a new panel.

You should have seen it after I tagged it.

Used to have quite a bit of spray chrome and gold.

Its just quite unfortunate that Chris's Grille didn't look very pink after painting it.
