I am preparing to get my 2JZGTE swap ready.
It looks like you are using the stock 3.0 V6 radiator. Is this correct and is it in the original mounting position? Even though you have a body lift, does the 2JZ fit length wise (I have no BL) between the stock radiator and firewall? I wan't to ditch the mechanical fan and go with a pusher.

I got a good deal on a HP 60 the other day so I decided to build it instead of build a 9" front. I started buy cutting everything off it including the knuckles so I could swap it to passenger side. I am making it 62" so I can reuse the stock short side shaft. I am making sleeve to press into the original short side so I can weld the tube I cut off the other side. I turned the hubs down and re drilled them to 6 lug. I will be using Tacoma rotors and calipers. I still need to machine the rotors and make some brackets to hold the calipers.
The plan right now is to put rears up front and 63" Chevy's in the rear. I will be lowering the engine and taking off the 3" body lift and installing a 1" body lift. I am also planning on bobbing the back and enclosing the cab with a cab section I cut off a 3rd gen truck. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I turned A sleeve .002 bigger then the ID of the tube then heated up the housing and slid the tube in. I was hoping I could get it 4" in but it only went about 2". That was enough though. I cut the tube a few inches shorter for the other tube. I heated the long side tube up and slid it on. I then welded it all up. I still need to cut a few more inches off the long side and weld the knuckles on.

Today I finished cutting down the long side and installed the knuckles. I heated them up to 400 degrees and they slid right on. I then welded them all up.
![]() I got the rear 60 cut down to size also.

Today I got the got the truss all built and welded on and got the spindle adapters welded on and finished the caliper brackets. I welded the the truss on first then put my alignment bar in then welded the ends on.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rotors are 12.5" 3rd gen 4runner and Tacoma calipers. They just clear A 15" steel wheel. ![]() ![]() Front rotors and calipers are the same.

I got the gears and lockers all setup. Front is 5.38 and a Spartan locker and the rear has 5.38 and ARB Locker.
![]() ![]() I also got the rear shafts all done. The front shafts are Ten factory 4340. For the long side I bough a blank the turned and splined it. The short side is still stock length.

I got a little bit more done this weekend. I started with making up some gussets for the knuckles. These are known for breaking so I wanted to beef them up.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also made up some gussets for the inner knuckles. ![]() I then assembled the front end. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Today I started cutting up the back. I bobbed 10" out of the rear.
![]() ![]() I also got the tires all mounted up. I know there only 37" but they will work until they start making 42" SX2's again.
