If I were to put the rear leaf springs of my '85 up front do I have to weld in new hangers or are they a direct bolt in. This might be a dumb question but I did a search and came up with garbage.
THanks a lot guys; so I guess its a direct bolt in huh. That simplifies things. One more question tho; what (in your opinion) would flex better upfront; a set of waggys or the stock rears??
Oh No, here we go again Dude this has been beat to death and it always turns into a blow out, flame thrower with guns and knives and insults flying around every where! Stand by for a three or four pager :flipoff2:

I put in a dropped hanger to match the extended shackle, get pitman arm to tie rod clearance, and get rid of the shims. Go with the waggy's, the rear's don't flex worth a damn. See, these are rears in the front
And here's some stock 7 leaf waggy's and 37" MTRs. (Hanger dropped 1.5" moved forward .75", perches drilled 1" back, and a 5.5" shackle, but other than the front edges, no fender trimming.)
There's still some flex left in there, but I maxed out the ramp.

Interesting !! Will have to look out for it. Atleast now there will be some compitition in the market here in OZ
Yea I am running a welded arm, just not legal. I thought Ruff would be running the quality high steer arms produced here in OZ ha ha ha ha Seeing as he WAS sponsored by them once apon a time I surpose ruff has learnt the hard way
dont qoute me on this, but i think even if ruff was to get aset he wouldnt use them, and he didnt want to wait for the other ones to be "put in the mail"
I have ordered from chaos twice now, both on mondays and have had the goods buy the wednesday. They emailed me to say the goods had been sent and then phoned to check that i got them and was happy with them, thats why i went back there and am waiting to see there arms
