you're sure, positive? wow i'd have NO turning radius with a 6, since i use ALL of the 8in stroke i have on mine, so if you could jack, please tell me how a 6 would be perfect??morpheus said:1.5" x 6"
- jack
Seems to me it depends on where you mount the ram.DSI said:

If you have access to infinitely adjustable ram travel lengths, this method works wonderfully. Most of the time, you have to compromise based on having enough ram to steer far enough.DRM said:So in summary, the CORRECT answer is that you need to mount your tie rod, determing where you want the ram mounted, mark both locations, move the steering through it's range of motion, and measure that net change in distance. Subtract a wee bit (so the ram limits your steering, not so the ram pushes against the steering stops) and you have the ram stroke you need... right?
yep ... by looking at the dude's sig I could tell he had a toy axleDSI said:

I have Marlin's High steer on mine too and I measured just over 5" of travel. I'd say measure before getting the ram just to be sure.toy 4 rox said:yes it is a 85 runner toy axel with marlin high steer.. so it looks like 1 1/2 X 8" is what i need.. will the stock pump work?
