not the most interesting update, but here it is
got the fuel filler neck tube ran on the passenger side, personal preference ![]() started working on the bed wall ![]() just for reference i set the shocks about where they will be mounted to the cage that will be between the cab and bed, fuel filler will also be mounted to the cage ![]() ![]() then started skinning, the two sections to either side of the center will have removable panels so i can easily get to the shocks or anything else back there ![]() ![]()

Sick man
I'm smack in the middle of a project similar to that right now.I took a cab cut off of an extended cab for my 90 toy and cut an 8 inch piece of the front of my bed so the body lines match up and then welded the back half of the cab to that. When it's done I will be just 4 inches shy of a 4 door minus the doors. Making the doors was just waaaaaaaaay too much work for me bro but way to go that rig is fawking sweet!!!Try not to get burnt out man I'm a little burnt on mine right now, I spent the better half of an afternoon today figuring out the floor in the rear.![]() ![]()

Hey what size wire are you using for your sheet metal welding? I'm using .024 with a 75% 25% argon co2 mix can't seem to find anything smaller on the wire though but it seems to be working just fine.

I'm using .030 & same mix on a Lincoln 180C, 1 on line speed on about half way between C & D on power and works perfect for me for just the body sheet
