I haven't been on here in awhile, but I saw your build and had to check it out again & see what kind of progress you've made, all I can say is you do some outstanding work! I had to sell my first gen. for financial reasons, but when I get the funds & resources for my next build, I'm going to use your build as my template! Keep up the good work, its turning out sick!

You might have answered this earlier, but are you going to coat the rear fenderwells with some sort of line-x or rhino liner or other type of undercoating?
Just wondering why you didnt spray the area while you were at it?

Thanks guys
I will be coating the fenderwells, as well as the floor in the cab. I'm still debating between doing in myself with roll on stuff, or taking it to the local bed liner place

Do you turn the d-ring to open them? If so, that's pretty damn creative and cool. Impressive work. I honestly can't wait until this is done.

yes, the d-rings turn and unlatch the doors and i just put some locks in to keep them from moving if needed, the setup is also beefy enough to still be used as tie downs

The D-ring latch is an awesome idea. Nice work as usual.

Certainly a sweet build - and I'm following it while drooling on my keyboard. But you do know that quad-cabs are available just about everywhere but the US, don't you?

but building one is certainly the best idea too!! I thought of making a 1st gen 4runner into 4 door or something like this! awesome!!!! but it does show me that there is no way I have enough skill to do this! This looks so clean, stock even! Great job!
