Well I decided and made the cut on my hood this weekend. I didn't get much done this weekend because of turning 21 on Thursday... However I did cut my hood down, half ass painted it black and tied my rad. mount into my firewall. I cut some plates out and welded them to my firewall then welded the tubes to those. I tied the passenger side into the cage already and I will tie the drivers side in the same way. I am also gonna make some gussets out of plate more for looks but will make everything stronger.

Now I'm debating on putting fenders back on it or just adding more braces/gussets to fill things in a bit?

Got some 3 leaf + overload 63" Chevy springs to replace my old, 2 leaf + overload Chevy springs. The 2 leaf + overload springs have worked awesome for me for since I built my first Xtra Cab in highschool. Probably the BEST $20 I have ever spent in my life... But they are old, have seen a lot of shit and are about wore out, so I figured it was time to retire them and get a new set of springs. My truck acquired a pretty good squat even empty, then throw all my camping gear in the bed and it had a bad case of the Cali Lean. The new springs took care of that and just about leveled it out.

My garage isn't wide enough to get a full side shot

New springs

They gave me a different shackle angle which I like better

Old Vs. New

Sold my 39.5x13.50-17 IROCs on Hummer H2 wheels. I paid $300 for the tires and $200 for the wheels. I sold them for $500, then bought these brand new 38.5x13.50-15 Pit Bull Mad Dogs for $500 from a buddy. They're Blems because they wouldn't balance. I put them on my old 15x8 steel wheels I had my old 39.5 IROCs on. They do look kinda funny at first but they're growing on me. They seem kinda narrow because they're Radial I think, but they're a tad bit taller than my 15" wheel 39.5 IROCs.

I forgot to put the SD card in my camera :shake_head:
