I finally got around to putting my dual cases in and have been driving on them for about 300 miles or so. Along with the cases came CV drivelines from High Angle and about a 2mpg drop in gas mileage. Has anyone else had this happen? I doesn't really concern me but I was just wondering.

By the way, dual cases kick ASS on the trail.
You do pick up more gear drag with the extra reduction box. Its not straight through in high range, it still runs through an extra set of gears. I find a good synthetic gear oil helps cut the drivetrain losses and reduce the heat under the cab. I'm using Redline 75W90 gear oil in my transfer case and MT-90 in the tranny:
you sure you got that nos bottle hook up to the engine and not the driver ? :flipoff2:
