I just put 4'' superlift springs on my 85 4runner. Do I really need the torque arm/rod? Who's knows if it's safe? Will it hamper flex? Will I break anything if I leave it off? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
it helps keep the truck going straight when you slam on the brakes, if you get xover you can safely get rid of it, otherwise you can still take it off, but you'll know its gone
i just asked the same question 4-5 days ago. i shortened mine for daily driving and have a quick disconnect for trail use. it was really squirly under hard braking.
