Cold start injector switch??

On my 86 Toyota truck 4x4 2.4 EFI the OEM number for the cold start injector switch is 89462-30011,but that has a square female end and mine is round cornered.Does anyone know the OEM number for this part? The truck originally had a turbo engine and now has a new 22RE.Did the turbo have a different switch number?

Just manually control it.

The Cold Start Injector is ground switched, Run a toggle switch in the cab connected to ground to the Cold start injector, When you walk outside and your G/F's nipples are perky, flick the switch, and the Cold start injector will run.

**** The good thing about the Cold Start Injector is it only runs while the starter is engaged, So there is no harm in leaving it in the on postion

The Time Switch and sensor are BIG bucks from Toyota. I've been running the manually switch for years no problem

different years used different plug ends, its still the same injector tho, take a knife and whittle it down to fit and it will work just fine.

pretty much, the design of the plugs you will find is that no other plug in the harnes will fit anything else, thats why its easy to do yotas, but between years they made the plugs for that year to the next different so people wouldn't use electric parts off other yotas, their way of making money i suppose. i have done it a few times for various things, even knock sensor

Since having the CSI switch bypassed it improved the starting to 2-3 cranks before starting. Then I changed the way I started it by turning the key to the on position for a second or two, then cranked the starter and flipped the bypass toggle switch..been starting first time ever since.

http://www.yotatech.com/f16/22re-col...-bypass-68706/ the CSI time switch is located under the t-stat housing..the bigger one on the left when facing the engine. The one on the right is the thermo temp sensor I believe.
