I'm building a '83 p/u and I'm using F150 springs front and rear.
In the rear I'm using 8 inch shackle and connecting it to a canaleever or frame-shackle which is kinda long, maybe 22 or so inches. Same idea as a buggy-leaf but a little more stout. Now my question is, if and when I get into heavy movement. What has been used to keep that axle from sliding side to side? I hear a trac bar but how long does it have to be or where to mount it so I don't bind up or lose travel. Please give me some ideas and or some pictures. Thanks:idea:
