Hey twisted, you need to PM myself and DRM as soon as you see this and tell us what you have going. Please dot it quickly so we can determine if this "Deal" your promoting is allowed by Lance.

Don't wait to long or we may need to nix it. I'm locking the thread for now, so if we feel it's cool to do this we'll unlock it.

Ok, here's the deal, I see no problem with this gear deal, Alan over at Rockbuggy Supply is sponsering a group buy via the Rockbuggy Supply BBS

Go get ya some gears folks!

BTW, let me be clear, had this been a attempt to facilitate a group buy here on PBB, we would have nixed it. But sharing info on where to get a good deal is absolutly welcomed!

and what is so god-awful about a group buy??

Now, when you say "xxx" are we talking about buying a lot of porn, or....
OH! I get it!

But really, I can easily see why the group buy thing is touch and go. It wouldn't take much at all for that many people and that much money to get a LOT of crossed wires and pissed off folks. The only thing I was annoyed with was I wasn't sure how to word it to keep it legit on POR. Seems it's been handled, so alls well!

BTW, We did manage to extend the deadline to Nov. 30th, so get on it!

I am really surprised to see prices that low, I know Advance Adapters is trying to move gears but those numbers are right at cost. I was wondering what deal they had setup with AA. Well According to Advance they have not purchased any gears and are not an AA dealer.

So where are they getting these gears from? Are they actually selling them yet? Has ayone here purchased gears from them?

Rocklogic sells AA 4:1 gearsets for $409 and 4.7's for $439 ALL DAY LONG. :D :D
Did someone mention this to Alan? I don't see the group buy "discount" if Rocklogic already sells at this price. What's the advantage of buying through Rockbuggy then besides supporting their site?

I guess this is referring to me? Nope, I'm not a direct AA dealer, and I don't make much on the gears. Just trying to help. :D

Edit: I don't keep these in stock, either. Just order them as I need 'em.

Good prices . I got mine last year as well from the Inchworm guy. What I liked about getting them from him was that he talked me through some problems I had on the phone. Im not all that great of a mechanic so I appreciated the help.

Inchworm support is good, the guys cool and was helpful to me.
Just something to think about buying it all in one shaot from some bigger company.
