just wondering if two 1.5 dom legs for my sliders would be sufficent. they are only running under the door on my 84. have a flatbed so no need to go more than just the door. i will be welding them on. thanks
The front one is the bitch, the two back ones are on flat ground so they are cake. I would go with 3, actually I went with 4 but mine is the platform for my exo.
OOP'S,
got a pictire of the other side of that mount ?? how wide is the the steal you used on the "cradle bracket" ?? looks like 1 3/4" ..
Great idea so they can be removed easily if you trash the rocker guards..

Thanks OOP'S! ( after re-reading my reply, I guess i need to learn to spell).
I take it the front attachment is welded to the front "cradle bracket" at an angle to match the frame.... Still the best design i have seen for strength combined with the ability to remove them if needed. I hope you don't mind if i use it myself......
another bolt on style that works well is a C style that has a bolt going through it and the frame verticly, however you will ahve to put a sleave through the frame where the bolts go through
I have a similar set up and my plate is 1/4" x 4"...the base slider is 3"x 1.5" and the kickout is 1.5" squared.
I have 3 supports and got my idea from OPPs about 2 yrs back...they are very tough and I have been on em lots, as well as the highlft under em....they have not bent in anyway for all the abuse I have given em...
