You shouldn't have to swap tanks. The carb pump should drawl the fuel through the efi pump. And the carb manifold will bolt up tp the 86 head, you will have a few xtra hole for the efi that you won't have on the carb manifold.
I would highly recommend you not go to carburation, but if you do...is your EFI working good? I'd like to be first in line to buy it off of you if it is in good working order.
OK I will be the one to ask. Why not just switch the whole motor EFI and all to the crawler and put the new 22re with I assume new EFI on the daily driver
I have EFI and enjoy laughing my ass off at the carbed guys when I go wheelin with them.
I doubt the new engine would come with injectors, sensors, wire harness and computer.
