Worked out well so you don't have to do the window cutting thing.
Got to call the fiberglass man.

So you much did you cut out of the body?? Looks like about 13.5" ??

Does the tail gate still open with this much choped off?? or does it hit the chassi??

Are the rear spring hangers in the stock location??

Do you have a body lift?? How much?

I am going to do the same think to mine and want to take out 13.5" but am unsure if I can get tail gate to still open or will it hit the chassi.

Thanks
Chris

That looks sweet man. I gotta ask though, Where do you wheel in Ohio? I'm from Central Ohio and still go back there to visit family, I've ran everthing I've seen in my uncle's stock Ramcharger on 33 Trail T/As. I'm not trying to dog on you at all I'm just curious if there's anything worth visiting next time I go back.

There is no place that I know of in Ohio to 4 wheel.
We go to Ky, Tenn, and N Carolina.

the runner was cut 13.5 inches so the one glass could be removed.
It's got a 3" body lift, and the springs are in the stock hangers at the rear. Had to notch the frame for the gate. Pic's coming soon.

this pic we bolted the outside of top with strips of steel before taking top off, kinda hard to see strips.

Never been to Wellsville?Guess it is further to there than to KY. or Tenn. There is supposed to be a few spots around Mason and Middletown.

Why doesn't anyone keep the sliding windows and lose the big wrap over glass in the rear?

BTW, nice bob....

I think because it is harder to do. You would have to cut the glass, which I do not think you can. Or get a new glass window made.

Plus I think it looks better this way then cutting the glass!!
